Pure Pod is proud to share that Kelli Donovan, our own CEO and Creative Director, was a finalist in the 2021 Canberra Women in Business awards! 

We at Pure Pod thank Canberra Women in Business for nominating Kelli as a finalist and their amazing support throughout the year for women in business in the ACT region.

Kelli was one of the three finalists in the Bookssorted sponsored, ‘Social Impact Women of the Year Award’. 

“The Social Impact award is for a woman who demonstrates leadership, tenacity, compassion, encouragement, pursuit of excellence and is a role model for other businesswomen in the field of for-purpose business, public or community service or social enterprise. This award will recognise those unsung heroes who help build our social economy, working for the most vulnerable in our community making it a better place for all”, Canberra Women in Business. 

The awards night, held late last October, was the first virtual Gala event held by Canberra Women in Business. Though separated physically, the opportunity to connect with other strong business women after a challenging year was extra special. 

The Canberra Women in Business Awards is sponsored by Rubik3. It is an important night in recognising the hard work, dedication and successes of Canberra’s women-led businesses.

Kelli has been a pioneer in the Australian sustainable fashion industry. She is a passionate advocate for humanising people working in the fashion industry as well as being a fighter for the preservation of our planet from manufacturing and textile waste. Kelli has a strong vision to create a fashion industry that holds planet, people and passion at its core. Pure Pod began in 2007 - when ethical fashion was still in its infancy - and since its inception, her brand has won many awards and accolades over the years in Australia and internationally.
